Mrs. Catherine Young, Financial Manager with Central MS Steel Magnolias Susan G. Komen recently made a site visit with Hardy Wilson Memorial Hospital CEO Larry Walker, CFO Ann Berch, and Mammographer Mary Pannell. Hardy Wilson Memorial Hospital received funding from the Central MS Steel Magnolias Affiliate of Susan G. Komen Foundation. This grant is to be used to provide education concerning breast health as well as free mammographic services to qualified persons. This year’s grant from The Central MS Steel Magnolias Affiliate brings the total funds awarded to Hardy Wilson Memorial Hospital to over $80,000 during the past five years. Patient care in the forms of mammograms, ultrasounds, and radiologist fees account for approximately 71% of these funds.
