Why Should I Sponsor?
When your organization becomes a sponsor of the Komen Central MS Steel Magnolias Race for the Cure you will be recognized as a caring partner in the fight against breast cancer. The Race is a highly publicized event with television and radio ads reaching 450,000 homes. As a sponsor, you will have the opportunity to associate with a well-known, highly visible, international organization. A number of opportunities for Race day visibility are available including on-site presence on Race day, recognition in Race publications, inclusion in applicable media promotions, visibility on the Race T-shirt and Race entry form.
Susan G. Komen values your contributions and manages funds wisely. 75% of net funds received by the Central MS Affiliate stay in Mississippi and are granted out to organizations throughout the 30 county service area to provide vital breast cancer screening mammograms and education and awareness initiatives to women who are underinsured or uninsured. 25% of funds received goes to the National Grant Research program to help find the cures for breast cancer. We are accredited by the Better business Bureaus and have a Charity Navigator rating of 4 stars.
